If the Cavs lose, it's because James Harden is just sort of standing around in no-man's land on defense. He just half stepped to Brunson and left Bridges wide open in the strongside corner one pass away.

Felt like the Aces guards were more dialled in. Young's strongside corner dexback technique against Mitchell is reminiscent of an earlier iteration against IND/Harris—this is added marginal prep work that nets a three.

Based on warmups, rookie Nick Martin will continue his role as strongside linebacker and Spencer Burford will start at left guard. He’s been alternating series with Ben Bartch.

While I’m flattered by the support and speculation, the role of Strongside Linebacker for the Chiefs is not a role I am considering.

Of all of the egregious defense from Harden in Game 1, this was the one that got me most. Initial double is fine, and backing out is fine when Brunson pulls back. But then Harden does nothing. Just stands in no-man's land while leaving Bridges wide-open in the strongside corner, one pass away.

Good flow from the Pacers, poking at the Knicks defense. KAT on Nesmith on the weakside, Robinson on Turner in the strongside. Brunson in action, show and recover but Siakam able to turn the corner. Robinson shows help and it's an open 3 for Turner.
