The biggest problem will be the Rejoin campaign, StrongerIn and People’s Vote was largely led by insufferable, arrogant and ignorant prats.

We need people who know how to Win a campaign.

I’m not that bothered if we have an another EUref campaign, what worries me is that the Rejoin campaign could be run/advised by the same idiots who were involved in StrongerIN/PV groups.

Those peoples shouldn’t be anywhere near it,we need people who know how to win, not who know how to lose
On rejoining the EU

Support: 55%
Oppose: 34%

... but on the conditions of single currency and Schengen membership

Support: 35%
Oppose: 43%

StrongerIn may have been feeble, but the Lib Dems ran a first-rate campaign, with a general brochure explaining the benefits of EU membership for the UK & further leaflets setting out what the EU did for individual regions.

However, we were drowned out by lies that spread like wildfire on Facebook.

Frankly…
The Old public faces (also the people who gave “advice” on how to operate) from People’s vote and its predecessor StrongerIN need to disappear into the ether, most are a hinderance not a help.
November 15, 2024 at 4:23 AM
I'm not so sure about that. StrongerIN was dreadful and when we finally had the numbers for a second referendum, the LibDems and SNP decided to go for a GE instead

Same people who were involved in PV/StrongerIN the top tier of that pretty much.

Their goal is presumably the same as it has always been, rejoin/join EU etc.. problem is these people are the same people who failed twice before.

Looking back, Given how badly StrongerIN ran their campaign, it’s a small miracle that the vote split wasn’t larger in favour of “Leave”

And don’t get me started on People’s vote, which was another entirely different car-crash.
Ten years ago the Electoral Commission recognised "Remain" as the official Referendum campaign for, well, Remain. However did we lose?

Oh, yes. It's coming back to me.

Some amusing reading, Another StrongerIn optics failure.

Well, I wouldn’t want a referendum anytime soon, The Rejoin movement is mostly being led by people from StrongerIN & People’s Vote. I full well remember what are car-crash those campaigns were, people need to be convinced of the benefits of Schengen
And € IMO,

I think we're at slightly cross purposes. I'm not saying it was a great idea for StrongerIn to argue that there was no £350m a week. I'm saying this problematic situation was partly because the media seemed not to seriously question whether there was £350m a week.

Ed Miliband was responsible for Corbyn’s rise, that stupid £3 a vote crap.

PV was made up of the StrongerIN Lot, they were focused on a second EUref, despite not having a clue how to win it.

Remain movement destroyed themselves, I have very little sympathy for them.

I understand why a lot of these coastal communities vote for Reform, like Kent did, or like when Thanet voted Leave in 2016, StrongerIN going down there before the EUref and telling them things would get worse for them..

“Hello, have you guys seen what’s happened down here last 10 years?”

Did Liz Truss get kicked in the head by a horse after the Brexit referendum?
September 2, 2024 at 11:33 AM
Pete seems a nice guy, shame the people who are giving him bad advice are such muppets.

But then what do you expect when most were originally from StrongerIN & Peoples Vote🤷🏻‍♂️.

So in order to help the break down of the rule of law in the UK and elsewhere, Europe should tear up its accession rules?

Why doesn't the UK try meeting the accession criteria, like every other state?

Most of the main faces of “rejoin” essentially.
As a example you have:
March for rejoin, which is mostly made up of people who were In PV, which was a car-crash, who in turn were people originally from StrongerIn which was a train-wreck.

@StrongerInPress How can I get hold of StrongerIn publicity stuff eg poster? Finding it impossible to obtain, can you let me know. Thanks

The fact they've extended the voter registration deadline proves #StrongerIn are panicking about gathering as MANY votes as possible.
