I keep getting asked about elaborate software tools that support software architecture. I use Miro (or a physical whiteboard and stickies). That's pretty much it. On the nice to have, there's Simon Brown's C4 model (both the notation and visualization tools like structurizr.com/).

A Structurizr MCP server is available on GitHub! It provides an easy way to load workspaces from the local file system (JSON or DSL) and to load JSON workspaces from a self-hosted Structurizr server.

I've updated the Structurizr DSL microservices example to take advantage of the new archetypes feature introduced a few weeks ago, which provides a richer and more concise DSL definition.

I like using Structurizr with its simple DSL so to have everything as code and generate dynamically different views of my architectures. Structurizr Lite runs as a container and is very convenient. I can recommend it :)
