んー、LogicPro無償期間だったんですが、ちょっと買い切りするか悩み中です
LogicPro使うとオーストに曲登録できなくなるかも、って観点の危惧で💦

What other "Jane Eyre" adaptations have I done:
#TheWeirdCircle Radio ep #18 (26-Dec-43)
#CBSRadioMysteryTheatre Radio ep #605 (22-Feb-77)
Ok I've been short changed so far as those radio series are not at all great. Hence this 1949 TV ep is my best "Jane Eyre" yet!

Adapts Charlotte Bronte's Novel (19-Oct-1847).
Charlton Heston stars as does Mary Sinclair. She was the first actress to ever sign a multi year TV studio contract and it was for 7 years with CBS which she'll do in 1951.

If I had a preference I think the Radio repetory actors do like when a big Hollywood star is parachuted in as they can suck dick for a while with folk of real influence.
Eg: I felt #StudioOne troup became more competitive which gave concentrated and eager work.

Does the producer's idea of no big movie stars being preferred to voice actors even work?
Yes & no.
Yes as I think there's no unfair divide in the billing and performances.
No as i think the show lacks glamour so we don't get the crowd excitement of #StudioOne Radio.

StudioOne(FenderStudio)

Inevitably as both shows are cut from the same (expensive) cloth they would have been compared in 1947 and for me the prior #StudioOne version was better.
Just 2 eps but Ford hasn't landed for me yet in terms of delivering dramatic emotion.

Adapts Eugene O'Neill's play (02-Oct-33) also made into a film (06-Dec-35).
These eps are very good listens. Thankfully the essence of the original text hasn't been homogenised into slop like say #TheWeirdCircle did.

#StudioOne adapted this play 15-Jul-47. It's odd that #FordTheater did it?
#Maybe they used the same script as the presenter said they may rebroadcast Radio eps but "Studio One" is CBS so unlikely?

This NBC Radio version goes out Sunday afternoons whereas the concurrent #StudioOne Radio eps on CBS Radio aired Tuesday evenings. Both are essentially in competition mind.
I think "Ford Theater" is also New York made. L.A. can't do such intellectual fare I suspect.

This is the link to the ep.
Not sure if "Ford Theater" will stick in a big name each ep like #StudioOne Radio as the producer didn't like spending big for Movie stars stating they're not as good as the actual Radio actors.

The play was translated into English as "Henry IV" and had been adapated into a mMovie in the interim "Die Flucht in die Nacht" (13-Dec-26).
No idea if this TV version is loyal to the original but as an hour of live 1949 US TV drama it's very different and watchable.

Tuned in thinking it's a Shakespeare and so it seemd til the cast started talking. I was aghast! Had the Bard been eaten by the TV sausage machine?
BUT NO! This adapts Luigi Pirandello's play "Enrico IV" (24-Feb-22).

From W. Somerset Maugham's novel (1915) which in between was a Movie (28-Jun-34).
Felicia Montealegre would've been compared to Bette Davis by 1949 TV viewers.
A moneyed Costa Rican-Chilean who was in Bradley Cooper's film "Maestro" played by Carey Mulligan (22-Nov-23).
