Is it #StuffedSoldierSaturday again already?! Let us whisk you away to the small town of Hillscheid on the German Limes where, on the northern outskirts, is a reconstructed watchtower (1/68) with a small museum within, and a 2nd/3rd-century AD soldier mannekin.

How lucky are we? It's #StuffedSoldierSaturday! Mannequins used to be a museum favourite but, sadly, are falling from favour. Here's one of the best (sadly, now gone): the pre-Flavian #RomanCavalry eques at Corinium Museum in Cirencester (GBR). Disturbingly real if you saw it in the (horse) flesh.
