Our basil has totally gone to town this summer! Usually we make pesto nearer to the end of the month...not this year. Here are 5 of the 8 jars we've 'put up' so far.

Purslane
Purslane is known in Chinese medicine as Ma Chi Xian. It is traditionally considered cooling and is often associated with clearing summer heat and supporting damp-heat patterns.
