I am not sure why this just didn't hit me. Maybe because I loved Final Battle. Did you listen to the new Sunbomb album Mike did this year?

Have you heard the band Sunbomb? It's a collaboration between Tracii Guns and Michael Sweet (of Stryper) - not glam metal, but extremely doomy hard rock/metal in the vein of Dio-era Black Sabbath, or Trouble.

Yeah I didn't like the first Sunbomb but I did like this one. I will say Even The Devil Believes is at the bottom of my Stryper list. That album just felt like they were trying to find a sound and played with way too many styles

The debut album by Sunbomb, a collaboration between Stryper vocalist Michael Sweet and L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns, totally blindsided me three years ago. A hundred miles from hair metal, it was an epic, heavy-as-hell trad metal record. They're putting out a new one in June, and I'm excited.

I did and liked it even less than the debut. I had bought the first Sunbomb on vinyl and ended up giving it away 😞🤷🏻‍♂️
