We are being kept intentionally & increasingly distracted, fed shit & stressed because stopping & thinking would make it abundantly clear that all that ails us is connected.

Under the thumb of a few psychopathic inept billionaires.

I'll be honest, I don't fancy the new format too much, but I get why they are doing it. What's lost with this emphasis on interviews is the current affairs aspect, that was the show's strength I think. Beautiful tribute by @instanterudite.bsky.social to Helen Haines, obviously struggling. #sundayshot

I love it when Dave talks to Grace Tame, it always has such a sad Obi-Wan meets revolutionary Padme energy :) And I used to know guys like Purplepingers, they used to lie in front of Pershing missiles in their youth and 20 years later were the real estate agent they used to despise. #sundayshot

@instanterudite.bsky.social shouldn’t be talking about the wonderful @helenhainesindi.bsky.social in the past tense - she’s still with us and no doubt will come out the other end #auspol #SundayShot

We need to be the change.

Go well Hannah.

true that Shoebridge is very fcukn good on AUKUS and foreign policy. Which absolutely enrages foreign policy cardigans like Sheridan and Hartcher. Who will attack him relentlessly, with varying degrees of openness #SundayShot

recalling that the Liberal Party voted yes to holding a referendum in the parliament and No to the referendum question. This produced publicly-funded seat-by-seat granular data on racist sentiment, to be used for targeted messaging by well-funded racist meme machines like Advance #SundayShot

also fuck the algorithm, democratise the party, more young people up for pre-selection, energise the base by offering votes for their local candidate, Greens parliamentarians are well-off #SundayShot

independents who can genuinely represent the working class, says Hannah. Sometimes vote in the interests of the community and not your own. Expose government capture, she says👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. #SundayShot

Labor with their 94 seats in the lower house are positioning themselves as the victim of One Nation and fundraising on “help us fight back” lmaoooo I did not know that. Like the Democrats. Just fucking legislate. #SundayShot

what should the Greens do? A huge reset, said Issa. What have they really achieved in 30 years? What do they stand for?

Fair call in very general terms but i think this overlooks the hugely successful 2022 ground game in Queensland? #SundayShot

what’s your first piece of legislation?
Changing access for powerful lobbyists. A transparency bill that improves all other legislation. The system they are setting up is about knowing neighbours, getting off the computer, knowing what people want #SundayShot

why is challenging Labor the priority when One Nation are the big threat? Hannah says we have to challenge the people responsible for the conditions that allowed One Nation to rise. She says Labor are those people, I’d argue all establishment figures, including Labor #SundayShot

Australian politics has become who can sell out the hardest says Dave. He is becoming cynical about Royal Commissions, he says. How much has really changed since the Royal Commissions into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody #SundayShot
