#SundayTraining: MANY dog owners think giving #Dogs "more freedom" (longer leash or off-leash time), they'll curb pulling & other difficulties. 🔺️NOPE‼️All that's actually COUNTER INTUITIVE. You must TEACH a dog how to walk on leash—having them Out of Your Control makes that IMPOSSIBLE🤷‍♂️

Jackson Bird says: It took me 6 months before I learned how to walk on leash, but once i got it, I was more calm and more apt to listen and generally MUCH more calm. Hi there! So HOW do you teach a dog to walk? Follow the steps in the next image, and when your dog pulls, either plant your feet and just stop or tell your dog "Come." and walk in the opposite direction. Do this as needed. Dad walked me BACK & FORTH so many times early on, people thought he was lost! (I was a year and a half old and was very aggressive and bitey... so i REALLY wanted things my way!)
