Jackie said GO GET A JOB, KID! I can’t tell if this is Sunny or Gizmo, but given their mild tolerance of (i.e., not outright attacking) the juvie, I have to think it’s one of the girls. Anyway, things are heating up in Big Bear Valley! #FOBBV #JackieAndShadow #SunnyAndGizmo #BaldEagles

Sunny & Gizmo haven’t come back to the nest in several days. Jackie & Shadow have been spotted soaring together & not visiting the nest much either, to encourage independence. The babies are on their own now. Best of luck on your journeys, girls. It was so lovely to meet you

Friends of #SunnyandGizmo #BigBearEaglets you can also send a message to the local news station to share the concern so they can highlight the issue on the news and hopefully raise enough public awareness to stop the fire works show.

Parents Jackie And Shadow will continue to teach them the ropes for a long period. The family dynamics of eagles are strong up until the eaglets are fully independent. Sometimes they fly over the nest and visit as you will see with Eagle Spirit. 🦅🌲
