Mika Häkkinen finished 4th in his McLaren-Mercedes-MP4/15. Jos Verstappen was 5th in an Arrows-Supertec-A21, scoring his first points since the 1996 Argentine Grand Prix. Jarno Trulli finished 6th in his Jordan-Mugen Honda-EJ10.

Heinz-Harald Frentzen (Jordan-Mugen Honda-199) narrowly beat Ralf Schumacher (Williams-Supertec-FW21) to 4th position. Jean Alesi rounded off the points scorers with 6th in his Sauber-Petronas-C18.

At Silverstone, with the result overshadowed by Michael Schumacher's leg breaking accident, David Coulthard (McLaren-Mercedes) won the British Grand Prix. Eddie Irvine was 2nd for Ferrari, Ralf Schumacher 3rd in a Williams-Supertec.

Grand Prix debuts for Ricardo Zonta (BAR-Supertec-PR01) & Marc Gené (Minardi-Ford Cosworth-M01). Zonta retired (overheating) on lap 48. Gené out on lap 25 after a collision with Jarno Trulli's Prost-Peugeot-AP02.

Damon Hill never used Supertec engines

When Hill drove for Arrows they used Yamaha engines

Arrows only used Supertec engines in 2000 and switched to Asiatech(rebadged Peugeot) in 2001

Ralf Schumacher finished 4th in his Williams-Supertec-FW21. Eddie Irvine was 5th in a Ferrari F399. Olivier Panis brought his Prost-Peugeot-AP02 home in 6th place for his first point of the season.

It really is the biggest 'what if' of the early 2000s. He was the only guy willing to stand up to Schumacher mentally. If the Supertec years hadn't happened and Honda had shown up sooner, the '98-'00 title fights would have looked a lot different.

Jos Verstappen had a great run to 4th in his Arrows-Supertec-A21. Alexander Wurz was 5th in a Benetton-Playlife-B200. Ricardo Zonta scored the last point, 6th in his BAR-Honda-002.

In 97 he buy part of Minardi, sold Ligier to Prost and was team principal of Benetton most of the year. He came back with Supertec in 99 who sold the old Renault engine.
Didn't know he was involved with Arrows but he was close to Walkinshaw and gave them Supertec in 2000 at least.

Partis pour rejouer 1998, Hakkinen (accélérateur) et Coulthard (hydraulique) sont fauchés en plein vol. Schumacher tout aussi embourbé dans les soucis, c'est Irvine qui obtient son premier succès, devant Frentzen.
Entre Mika, Eddie et Heinz-Harald, la "drôle de guerre" venait de commencer.
