DELLパソコン、新品のELECOMヘッドセットをイヤホンジャックに挿しても認識しなくて、ここ数日困ってました。

・Windows Updateでプログラム更新
・DELL Updateでプログラム更新→DELL SupportAssistantに変身したので削除
・Realtek Audioを更新→変化ないので削除→勝手に再インストール

といろいろ試してたら、急にイヤホン接続時にMaxxAudioProが立ち上がったので、ヘッドセット-オンイヤーに設定したら無事聞こえるようになりました！

どうやらスタートアップにMaxxAudioProを追加すればよかったっぽいです(遅延起動はダメ)。

お仕事用PCのDell XPS13の調子が悪いというか動作が常に重たい感じがしたので、試しにタスクマネージャーで動いているプロセスを調べたら Dell SupportAssistant のサービスが大量のメモリとCPU負荷を消費していることが判明。Xで調べたら、どうも連休明けから同様の現象が起こってSupportAssistantをアンインストールしている人が何人も出てきた。
とりあえすWindowsのDell SupportAssistサービスのスタートアップの種類を「手動」に切り替えて再起動したら、この現象は収まった模様。バッテリーの減りが早かったのもこいつの仕業だった可能性があるな
