Ja. Ze hebben de kwaliteit verhoogd zodat er met hogere snelheden gereden kan worden. Dat is de belangrijkste impact qua tijd.
De nieuwe tunnelpassage bij Khashuri scheelt ook. Dat is de derde route variant langs de Surami-pas sinds de opening van de lijn in 1872.
