i think the "guy obviously in his 20s writing dialogue for middle aged adults" makes folks come away with the impression that it's surfacelevel-deep but there's some real meat on its bones. considering the progression of parsons short films i think his work's only gonna get more compelling from here

I can picture that. I only know nikke at a very surfacelevel from friends but I can see them integrating very fluidly into that world
