The Pacific Surfer from San Diego to Los Angeles has to be one of the most wonderful, and affordable, train journeys around. First half hugs the coastline and offers gorgeous views. Less than $40. Have suddenly become a big fan of Amtrak. Very different to Avanti West Coast from Euston
