GW Egret. Great local find down the road at Black Ditch Rustington, in a flooded field whist looking for Jack Snipe. 3 Snipe, Reed Buntings, Stonechats, GS Woodpecker, Grey Heron the best otherwise form 24sp seen.

Pete has confirmed it's a regular visitor here in spring, as well as visiting Snow Hill Marsh, West Wittering, where it was ringed as a chick in 2024. Not been reported anywhere else yet! #HantsBirds #SussexBirds

Nice flock of Common Redpoll at Pagham. Other new birds today; Spotted Redshank, Lesser black-backed Gull, Knot (c400), Canada Geese and Bar-tailed Godwit taking my Selsey Peninsula total to 87 this year.
