I now fervently believe this. Relatedly, I think celebrating good news and embracing joy are equally radical. You have to remember what you’re fighting for. We cannot sustainably organize around sorrow.
I’m coming to understand that maintaining hope is radical.

artists support each other when systems will not. there's little safety net. it is resilience. artists are not your competitors. artists are your peers, mentors, and the ones who will defend the ability to create sustainably.

People are really uncomfortable with a tax level that would bring us up to sustainably providing existing service levels and I have no idea what you do with that if you want to provide even more services.

ok so the thing is that tiny experimental fusion reactors that sustainably produce power don't exist, so uh I have some questions
