#Birds The Bontebok National Park is near South Africa's third oldest town, Swellendam. Near the south coast and the most southern point of the continent, this small park is quite delightful and well worth a day visit. Denhams Bustard, Double Collared Sunbird, Fiscal Flycatcher, Cape Grassbird.

In afternoon we visited Bontebok National Park in Swellendam (the home of the last blaabok). We saw red hartebeest, a puff adder crossing the road, toktokkie beetle, spotted thick-knee, pearl-breasted swallow, and … the bontebok.
