Yup. SAP's brilliant packaging of y2k - compliant database + complete set of apps outsold all the other better engineered standalone database systems. Sad. I loved sybase.

Gates has never had an original thought. Someone else already said it & he just copycats. He figured out how to squeeze billions from peddling flaky PC software. MS never developed anything good. SQL Server was arguably their best, but that was licensed from Sybase.

Ooh! Also not a game, but in Sybase IQ (enterprise SQL RDBMS), there was a "username()" function, and also a back-compatibility function like "get_username()", and it turned out that nobody really tested the latter one and if you called it, it crashed the entire server.
i don't have a game but once in thinkpiecebot i was showing my dad how the bot worked on thanksgiving and i changed "millennials" to "sweet potatoes" and i accidentally had it doing that for several days

Some (most?) dbms don’t offer unsigned integers. I spent most of my time in sql server (Sybase, and then Microsoft) and there is no unsigned bigint.
