I find it funny (nice) that DisplayLink (monitors over USB, but not hardware so unlike DisplayPort or HDMI or DP over USB-C) is owes its history to VNC / Olivetti Research Lab in Cambridge, and DisplayLink's docs still sound English-y, despite being a Palo Alto HQ and sold to Synaptics in 2020.
