A 12 GB VPS and a 96 GB VPS both report vm.min_free_kbytes=67584. No sysctl file; THP wrote it. I read who min/low/high actually stop, watched kswapd in a lab, and accidentally killed a container.

I tried the irreversible sysctl on my own laptop; the lock is still there. Who wrote the 2 on my server, which calls the gate blocks, the Spectre link, and the constants the JIT blinds with XOR.

- Load ntsync module
- Increase memlocks
- Configure zram
- Enable lavd
- Split lock mitigate to 0
- Virtual memory sysctl tweaks
- File handle/inode cache sysctl increase

Favorite shell alias for #golang dev on Apple Silicon chips:

Runs tests on efficiency cores only, perfect for fuzz testing (`bgtest -fuzz FuzzFoo`) in background without affecting normal work.

On M-series Macs, you can run this to see how many P-cores you have:

sysctl -n hw.perflevel0.logicalcpu

Quickdraw should be about that many times as fast.
