3 rack toms! Look at Neal Peart over here
Cavs plays the shit out of a kit like this here. If your toddler manages to sit through the whole thing, you might have a prodigy on your hands.

Voiceovers really are one of my least favorite storytelling tools in movies; just show me the fucking scene or use actual expository dialogue in a natural way. Plus in this case, it was like, "Look! Our theme is valuing human life! Did you see that?? HUH??" No thanks

OG I feel really bad for Miles Dyson in this moment. He wasn't trying to create this evil entity that Skynet became & he gave his life to destroy it, leaving behind an innocent wife & son who obviously loved him

Edward Furlong's delivery of "She's going to blow him away!" is so cringey & I remember giggling when I heard it the first time

Hm I stand corrected. Enrique's actor (Cástulo Guerra) is Argentine. I'm not sure about everyone else though

I feel like all the people speaking Spanish in this scene with Enrique and his family don't actually speak Spanish IRL. It sounds so stunted. Were there no Spanish speakers James Cameron could hire??

One thing I love about Sarah is how resourceful and smart she is. She's also so fucking brutal and dedicated to her mission. Damn, I have such a huge crush on this character

OK, so Arnold can disregard an order to save Sarah Connor but will let John go or stand on one foot bc he's supposed to do whatever John says?

Also John really is a little annoying asshole; those gym bros were literally coming to help him 🙄

This entire chase scene is incredible from beginning to end. I wish more movies had these, even the early-90s CGI that reveals T-1000

I watched the MST3K version of Mac&Me & I just realized that the kid at the very beginning of that movie is John's friend Tim (& also a cast member of Salute Your Shorts) - damn, he was everywhere in the 80s and 90s

I really dislike narration in a movie and kinda feel like the whole opening scene of this movie could have been done a whole other way. How, I'm not sure, maybe give John some lines? Show how they figured out Skynet was sending another Terminator? Just some notes for James Cameron #T2JD #filmsky 📽️

I decided that, instead of going with a new movie, I'm going to watch one I haven't seen in years: #T2JD

Obviously I should be doing other things? Sure, but our world is getting worse by the second & I'd like to be distracted atm
