That should make every "cloud" purveyor reconsider the targets placed on their tax write offs as well.

Sobering read. The targets were already the compromise — not much margin left after this.

ASUS Debuts XA P2N-E2 Server With Dual NVIDIA Vera CPUs at OCP
ASUS unveiled the XA P2N-E2, a 2U server built on NVIDIA MGX architecture and powered by dual NVIDIA Vera CPUs, at OCP Global Summit 2026 in San Jose, California, on October 12, 2026. In a press release, the company said the system is designed for agentic AI and reinforcement learning workloads. According to the release, the server targets the execution layer of AI applications, handling code execution, tool use, sandboxing, data processing and orchestration, work that extends beyond the AI model itself. The XA P2N-E2 supports up to two dual-slot NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, combining CPU computing with GPU acceleration in the 2U platform. ASUS said the system’s single-thread CPU performance and high-bandwidth, energy-efficient memory are intended to keep AI agents responsive during demanding execution and evaluation tasks. Dual Vera Processors in an Air-Cooled 2U Chassis The XA P2N-E2 product page, which carries a “NEW” designation, lists dual NVIDIA Vera processors, each integrating 88 custom Olympus cores with Spatial Multithreading for 176 threads, at up to 480W TDP per socket. ASUS describes Vera as the first CPU purpose-built for AI agents: under the workflow ASUS outlines, the CPU handles sandboxed code execution, tool use, orchestration and...

Issue 2: Entering arenas gives you a screen filter called the "Purge filter" or something. To end the arena you need to kill certain targets while a bunch of extra spawn seemingly indefinitely. Who are these targets you need to kill? Nobody knows! The game doesn't tell you. It'd be nice to know.

Deepgram targets voice AI on air-gapped laptops
Voice AI is quickly becoming core infrastructure as people swap screens and clicks for conversations with their devices. That shift puts new pressure on the compute, storage and partnerships behind the models doing the listening and talking. Deepgram Inc., which expanded its Flux model to 10 languages earlier this year, needs infrastructure for both its in-house research team and tens of thousands of external customers, according to Nick Mann (pictured), staff technical program manager at Deepgram. “We have 45 of the smartest researchers you’ve ever seen who can go prospect and find amazing things,” Mann said. “You know what they like to eat? Compute. Just tons of compute, tons of data.” Mann spoke with theCUBE Research’s John Furrier at the Dell “AI Leadership Symposium,” during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed voice AI infrastructure, how Deepgram keeps improving its models and the push to run voice AI on personal devices. (* Disclosure below.) Scaling voice AI from the lab to the laptop Deepgram’s 13 years in the market have given it the know-how to tune models for noisy settings such as air traffic control and emergency medical services, according to Mann. Still, the company assumes...

Conversely, you seem to be exceedingly comfortable with Israel cutting off electricity, stopping food & medical caravans, bombs being dropped on civilian targets. .

Yeah. Two can play that game.

Nice try though.

Nucleic Acid Extraction Rapid Kit: What the Spec Sheet Confirms
Nucleic Acid Extraction Rapid Kit (Magnetic Bead Method) Sample preparation sets the pace of most molecular testing workflows, and a kit claiming 13.5–23 minutes per run targets that bottleneck directly. The listed specifications, however, leave instrument fit to the buyer. The Bioperfectus kit is listed as a magnetic bead extraction reagent for DNA and RNA, with a 200 μL sample input, 70 μL elution volume, and recovery stated at ≥85%.

After 30 years, scientists finally have a drug for a deadly brain disease
Alexander disease can interfere with movement, thinking, and automatic bodily functions such as breathing and heart rate. Zanvastro is the first and only approved disease-modifying treatment for the condition, meaning it targets an underlying biological process responsible for the disease rather than simply relieving its effects. The drug emerged from more than three decades of scientific research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's School of Veterinary Medicine and Waisman Center. Much of that work took place in the laboratory of Albee Messing, professor emeritus of comparative biosciences and former director of the Waisman Center, whose discoveries helped make the treatment possible. Ionis Pharmaceuticals collaborated in developing the drug. Clinical trials offered encouraging results. Patients receiving Zanvastro generally experienced stabilization of their motor function, and some showed improvements in their ability to move. "This is a wonderful and long-awaited day for the Alexander disease community," Messing says. Alexander Disease: A Rare and Devastating Brain Disorder Alexander disease affects fewer than one in every million people worldwide. Although exceptionally uncommon, its consequences can be severe, with symptoms that gradually interfere with everyday activities and essential bodily functions. People with the disorder may develop seizures, lose previously acquired developmental abilities, experience increasing difficulty walking...

Precisely. They rerun the same malignant “hate”playbook” over and over with different targets, as that’s all they’ve got because they’re so utterly morally and intellectually bankrupt. 🤬

transmisogynists will say shit like "trans women are women" and mysteriously grow suspicious of the pervert tgirl for owning her sexuality. god forbid she likes cnc as it not only shows her "true nature" as a "r*pe-bodied male" but also that she hates ciswomen as the REAL targets of sexual assault 🙄

I do know that this DOJ has a history of fabricating evidence against various administration targets. And Trump has repeatedly promised to jail Omar.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt when they earn it back.

This is what state terrorism looks like. This is exactly what Putin does to dissidents; exactly what China does to theirs. What MAGA does not understand but Trump's cronies in Congress do: the second any of them dissent from the Trump cult rhetoric, they become targets. It's why we have a 1st A.
