people insist Far From Home is a worse movie because TASM2 has actual heart but like. man im sorry, at least when i watch Far From Home it barely feels like it faced severe corporate meddling. that shit is literally all over TASM2. like, everywhere. also Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio >>>>>>>>>

Don't let Kirkman saying that TASM2 is a bad movie distract you from the fact that TASM1 is also not very good

You know, after TASM2, I really hope Marc Webb is doing better and finally focusing more on his craft without studio interference and panderi-
Oh nevermind.

We put on TASM2 and I think we both just kinda died a little inside by the end
My cousin just pointed out that Electro, Rhino and Shocker are the only villains in the live action Spider-Man movies to actually name themselves instead of being named by the news or someone else(or never actually getting named in the movie like Venom lmao)

I’ll probably be shot in the streets for this but I unironically prefer Tobey’s suit over Andrew’s TASM2 suit

TASM2 has taken on genuinely mythic proportions of rehabilitation its unreal. Especially considering I'm not convinced anyone has actually engaged with it beyond 1080p GIFs on TwiXter since it actually came out

Remembering that weird period when film Twitter for some reason had a really strong hate boner for Spider-Man: Far From Home and acted like it was somehow the worst thing ever. I don't even think it's an amazing film or anything, it's fine IMO, but that along with gassing up TASM2 I do not miss. lol

I actually think the core concept of TASM2 Electro being an outcast and a nobody that no one acknowledges until he gets his powers and finally gets the attention he craves is a really good angle for him
I just wish the movie didn’t punch down so hard on him before Times Square
