Character Concept Art of Linus and Arthur Parnassus in "The House in the Cerulean Sea" by TJ Klune

A really great cozy book filled with fluff! So I thought my style would fit the best for it!

hope to see u in THITCS server!

Once you do finish THitCS I wrote a lil post book 1 fic, incidentally…

Twenty pages to go in THitCS… what should I read next? Two are for comps research; one is for joy 🤩

Still considering making a podcast called "Shit I Like" where I talk (surprisingly) about shit I like.

(Excuse to ramble about horror podcasts, Good Omens, THitCS, anime, etc)

Next up in THITCS soap collection:
Sal is a sweet young man with the soul of a poet. He also happens to transform into a Pomeranian (he's a were Pom!).
Sal's soap was made with colors poured in rings and then swirled. It smells of figs, sugar and coffee.

Grim Oak Press just announced an illustrated signed limited edition of TJ Klune's The House in the Cerulean Sea. We've only too happy to have locked in copies—thought no more than a handful—for our customers. subterraneanpress.com/klune-thitcs...

TLH: the book that made me realize “holy shit, I could do this too.” was very inspired by Hazelwood’s story and storytelling ability.

THG: formative. I binged the whole series in three days and then read them again. And again.

THITCS: what inspired me to write cozy stories

The year has been heavy with so much uncertainty and fear, and drawing has always been my way of sharing love

As we step onto a new one, let’s embrace kindness. No matter what lies ahead, remember we can always choose to love and share small moments of happiness.

sounds perfect. i’m also rereading thitcs, that book is such a happy place for me 😌💜

Last year I made a soap collection inspired by TJ Klune's book 'The House in the Cerulean Sea'. Each of the magical children was soapified. First up, Chauncey. He is a sea creature who wants to be a bellhop when he grows up. 💚 #tjklune #soapmaking #THITCS #LGBTQIA

Red, White, and Royal Blue and The House in the Cerulean Sea are two of my all-time faves. I remember running on the treadmill while reading THitCS and having to stop because I started bawling. Good times.

Seems like people are doing interest posts so here’s mine:
- writing
- art (traditional especially)
- dc comics
- animation (toh, maws, miraculous…)
- queer books (thitcs, rwrb, infinity cycle…)
- musical theater
- playing instrumental music
- dance
- podcasts (mostly fiction)
- internet history

I can't believe this. And this is a good thing but I can't believe it.

I've read #THITCS right. And now when I'm tired and or moody, I just think of them. I think of a scene that happened and I'm happy again.

Thats insane. I love it. It's been so long since that happened.

I've read a large portion of his back catalogue, some are better than others, but THitCS is one of my all time favorites! Also I am excited for his sequel. His earlier non-genre stuff can be really funny.

I love TJ Klune’s novels and cannot wait for the sequel to The House in the Cerulean Sea come September 2024! THitCS was my introduction to his fiction and I followed up with The House Under The Whispering Door, The Greek Creek series, The Extraordinaries, and most recently In The Lives of Puppets.

Decided to write something a little different, so I wrote my first #thitcs smutfic :3 #fanfic #thehouseintheceruleansea #nsfw
