There are some nice and cheap handhelds that operate on both ham and GMRS/FRS (license required, but no test for those). Baofeng & Tidradio are some brands that fit the bill. 🫡

For any GMRS geeks: The new Tidradio TD-H3 HT is pretty damn slick. Tiny, but packs a wallop. BT enabled for headsets and programming. USB-C programming and charging. Approved for both HAM and GMRS (and unlockable). Has a few other slick features. Tiny, screen is fairly busy, but a good buy.

The UV-5R is the standard but it's aged. You're better off getting a TIDRADIO H-3 which has a better menu, better receiver, and can be programmed with a standaed USB-C cable. It's maybe $10 more than a UV-5R.
*BUT* you cannot transmit on these without a license.

Milanov model som nepozrel, niektoré majú čudlíček na prepínanie výkonu. Ale ja nemám s takýmito praktickú skúsenosť. Tiež len pokukujem a porovnávam. Na YT som videl recenziu kde porovnávali kvalitu príjmu a reprodukcie, zrozumiteľnosť a tak. Baofengy moc neexcelovali, skôr Tidradio a Motoroly.
