the leaks got me thinking did looney tunes cartoons get a similar brand style guide, even though its sparse merch based on that show was made so WB must've had plans initially to give a rollout like TLTS did
WB didn't really treat this show as part of the main brand like they should've its weird

Also very much TLTS Daffy coded is that Biddy Blas is canonically a constant failure who keeps trying ridiculous jobs. Per his Wookieepedia page, “[Racing] was Blas’s fourth attempt at fame, following Huttball, modeling, and jatz [AKA jizz]”.

Was looking through these last night and out of everything I was able to get, I’m really glad it was the production stuff from TLTS.
Borutski already was a part of my own art style inspirations, but seeing a lot of this material for the first time was a blast.

He was all but retired in the '60s, just making a few cameos in a few of the recent LT movies and I think TLTS.

The “stalker with a crush” trope TLTS initially applied to Lola would ironically work well for Melissa, especially when you get stuff like The Duxorcist and the aforementioned Super Snooper where she is crazy in love with Daffy, emphasis on crazy

also I think petunia was going to be called patty? a lot of the laff riot/tlts production art says patty but I think some of it says petunia so I'm assuming they're the same character

its so interesting to see them attempt to give him a fairly traditional "daisy" like donald has... I can absolutely see why Tina was their final choice it fits a lot better especially in the TLTS context.

If Melissa was in TLTS she would have been Daffy's stalker with a crush and Tina's nemesis
Honey Bunny wasn't in any cartoons and she only debuted in the 1960s which means LTC didn't want to adapt her like they did with Cicero

I’ve always loved her design but I guess she would have been too “cartoony” for TLTS (figure that one out.) Although, I actually really like Tina, but she’s a much more grounded character and it would be weird if she showed up in something like LTC

The research for my Wile E Robot AU is going very well, who knew I would eventually find a short that basically just handed me free inspiration/proof through a gag lol
(Also ALT title, obligatory TLTS reference)

Tell me you remember grabbing a cherry Slush Puppie as a kid without telling me… 🍒🐶
⠀
TLTS teamed up with Slush Puppie to create their latest Loaded Legend: Chillin’ Cherry! It delivers that iconic sweet cherry taste, but packed with functional wellness ingredients you can feel great about:

That favorite version of Lola bunny way much better than space jam or TLTS version, that makes underrated cartoon character.

And she's the designer of the Looney Tunes in TLTS by the way!
Ugh.... why would the creator of Bunnicula the Series resort to using GenAI for this... 😭
I really hope she better reconsider making this.

*sigh*. Another talented artist that sold their soul to AI. This really hurts because Jessica Borutski is one of my inspirations and this is heartbreaking. I hope she reconsiders this and listens to other artists about this.

However to me, one of my picks for best Lola is what they did to her in Wabbit/New Looney tunes where they decided to combine both space jam and TLTS versions together. She’s bubbly, energetic, but she’s not dumb and she’s very sporty. Honestly, this Lola was one of the highlights of Wabbit for me.

As a looney tunes fan, I’d argue there’s way better portrayals of Lola out there like Wabbit and the DC comics portrayal. I’ll tell you this. They are way less annoying the TLTS incarnation. I hope this helps.

They rightfully hold a grudge on it for being a overcorrection to TLTS
