In a John Darnielle I heard today (@themountaingoats.bsky.social) , he reflects on his younger days, lining up for shows hours before doors & not leaving the rail. Now, in his 50, it’s not his jam. I laughed. I’ve been in line for shows 4 more hours than I’ve been at shows. Some hours for tMGs

there is a whole different side of a character that only shows through trials and adversity and doubt and I like seeing that too. and sometimes I just like tormenting fictional guys that deserve it (if you know TMGS you know)

I also love the option to Best Friend a guy in TMGS and use him as your love cheerleader while he pines for you the whole time

Btw I NEED Konami to localise the TMGS games 😭😭 I learnt what a freaking parka was through TMGS since we don't use them in this climate. Plus I really enjoyed helping my MC choose her ootd!!

hehe, I'd recommend a TMGS entry (especially 3) or Bustafellows the most out of those. the others I'd be interested in your thoughts on though (I haven't even played Shinigami to Shoujo)!

there are some GREAT female protagonists that shine even when her current bf sucks, and in the best games the boy/man is broken down into vulnerability and begging at her feet for affection. for the sadistic, in TMGS you can even torment them with Best Friendship as they pine. cool stuff ☺️

Manifesting so badly. I remember when TMGS4 was first released and I sent them some fanmail and asked them if they would ever localize the series. I do remember them saying that they were aware that TMGS has an overseas fanbase and would consider it, so I took that as a very loose "maybe" lol

I think the next games I'll be focusing on are... TMGS 2 and Bustafellow 2
I'll only do prob 1 route in tgms tho while bustafellow 2 is the priority.

I only played a little bit but, I'm 100% sure I saw a Saeki CG I've never seen before on the ds.
I'm a bit disappointed the chara sprite aren't dynamic like in TMGS 3-4... The lips-sync is present but, it's not super perfect. ^^;
Ngl I'm happy i can finally get uncropped fics of the CGs.

I was curious so I gave it a small peek ^^;.

I sucked ass at coordinating outfits in tmgs but I feel like I could do better these days, maybe I should play 4 for these 2 (i like the way the pink hair looks a lot)
