Playing TS4 like it’s TS1 (with the TS1 music lol) has been weirdly freeing. Time flew by like it used to. I realized modern games have so much noise for me, everything has to be perfect, aesthetic, attention-grabbing. TS1 did so much with a few generic faces and a small bunch of objects.
I'm also trying to learn to live with the emptiness. This is what ts1 hood felt like, and anyway, it will eventually fill up

So the rough idea of this save is: slowly recreating TS1 as I play. Starting with just the base game: OG Sim Lane (10 lots), aging off, grinding careers like it’s 2000. I’ll add TS1 expansions (hot date, Vacation, Superstar, etc.) using TS4 packs as I feel like it eventually catching up to ts2 lore
