A well-acted, tensely plotted and excellently written spy drama that's only gotten more intriguing and engaging in its third season; halfway thru, can't wait to binge the rest, love this show

Rewatching #Caprica on #AmazonPrime, the prequel to #BattlestarGalactica and I forgot how compellingly good it was. Shame it was cancelled after only one season. #TVRec

Such a thrilling and fantastic show; a seedy, dark crime story propelled by two gripping lead performances from Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti. More Batman villains need this kinda treatment

Still such a subtly gripping, quietly enthralling spy drama; arguably, not the strongest season overall, but still as well-performed, superbly written and anxiety-inducing as ever

A good show that has the potential to be a great one with some better writing and improved character development, but overall, a solid new series with a terrific central performance from Billy Bob Thornton

Old-fashioned and quite formulaic, even kinda cheesy sometimes, but overall, a much more faithful adaptation of its source material with a leading man who fits the main character like a glove; nothing incredible, but still good fun

#TVRec: I’ve gotten into Nordic Noir & European crime/detective dramas. In Tatort-Dortmund, DCI Faber solves homicides & lives w/ depression & anxiety. It’s rare to see that done so well. Great cast & Dortmund is a visually interesting city now on my “visit list.”

I’ve decided (since I should have been visiting Gladstone’s Library) that I’m having a week long staycation in October. I already have Old Guard & Enola Holmes on my “to-relax-with” list but what other movies, tv shows and books should I add? #staycation #bookrecs #tvrec #filmrec
