A little trip to Hayford & Tackley. Good to see the temporary turned permanent footbridge at Tackley now has art work on it!

Contributors to ORFOL will have wasted thousands of pounds on this lost cause, led on by climate change denier, and anti-vaxxer Anne Gwinnett of Tackley and misinformation from Richard Parnham (aka Reconnecting Oxford).

A day late for #NetworkSouthEast 40 years but here’s a little plaque at Tackley from 1993 about the station improvements made around the time of Turbo introduction

Network Rail had been seeking to replace Sandy Lane and Yarnton Lane level crossings with footbridges to improve safety. However, the rail authority now says the works have been “deferred” due to an expected increase in freight traffic not occurring. www.networkrail.co.uk/our-work/our...

@royalmusical.bsky.social Two more excellent presentations! Lindsay Carter on having a publication plan, Freya Jarman and Catherine Tackley on publishing in journals

It has been a great day today. The reason I was up early was to visit two stations that get a 2 hourly service.

Heyford and Tackley, but the other reason was to catch a Steam Locomotive. Which I share later.

Also, if you plan to go to Heyford... access to the Internet is pretty poor 👍

Greetings from Oxford!

It's time for a change here - I am leaving one station (Tackley) for another time as I now venture to the Cotswolds!

After seeing a Voyager pass through, it's time for 800036 (winning unit!) to take me to a new station!

Excellent paper by Bob Stern, Taras Gerya and Paul Tackley opening the doors for a new tectonic world. Plate tectonics is only one of many modes in which planets can operate. These modes also represent different evolutionary steps.

The existing North Cotswold Line would see its frequency doubled, with a half-hourly service from Moreton-in-Marsh, Kingham, Charlbury and Hanborough to Oxford and Didcot. The Cherwell Valley stations of Heyford and Tackley would also get two trains each hour.

The OM reports ORFOL saying it will "continue to challenge ... because Oxford deserves better than policies imposed in defiance of its residents."
But fails to report that 2 of its 3 Directors live outside the city, in Tackley and Witney - both served by regular bus services.

I watch organization shows and videos. It mostly comes down to categorizing though. When I tackley kids room, I put everything that is not put away in the middle of the room and put in piles of throw away, give away, bookshelf, closet, stuffed animals, etc, then use bins to organize.

I wasn't able to see #TheBeam at #DiamondLightSource visually but I was able to pick it up faintly on photos. I was located in a muddy farmer's gate entrance on the outskirts of Tackley, 30 miles away as the crow flies from #HarwellCampus so I'm amazed I got it at all! Canon 1100D with 50mm lens
