oh, tactical nexus
Until now, I believed that encountering enemies that couldn't be damaged or collecting items was a fun experience in itself, and automating this would make the game dull and not very good. However, in Mystic Gate and Last Inflator, there were many instances where a slight mistake in procedure meant having to rewind about 500 moves to clear enemies. The strain on my fingers was immense, and all 241 fingers that had grown on my body vanished. Statistics from TacticalNexus show that 80% of players, like us, play TacticalNexus using tentacles or psychokinesis. However, this discriminatory specification against non-soft-bodied players is unacceptable in the 21st century.

the latest tactical nexus dev post featuring an extended section where they riff on the fact that every single update to the game has been incredibly late, often by months and months
As part of TacticalNexus’s “cosmic expansion,” we spent February, March, April, May, June, and July developing stages and writing articles on Neptune. So, while I finished writing and updating the articles in February—and TacticalNexus is actually already complete—it may be quite a while before you all receive them. That’s because of the time difference. It has been six years since we began receiving praise from players such as “development with absolutely no delays,” “the miraculous team that meets every deadline for every stage,” and “𝙀𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀 𝙆𝙀𝙀𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙎.” However, meeting deadlines is simply expected. We are merely doing what is expected of us. Failing to meet deadlines or suddenly postponing them—this is unthinkable for any adult. Even animals, for the most part, maintain precise internal clocks. However, the reality of distance is cruel. TacticalNexus, which declared around 2021 that it would complete all stages, has had its content updates hindered by the gap between planets. Earth has established high-speed data communication technologies, starting with the internet, and I realize just how truly blessed and wonderful a planet it is. Damn it, time difference—we can’t forgive you…! Compared to the boundless vastness of space, everything in society is trivial. Therefore, TacticalNexus’s delay is also trivial. Thank you for your patience.

Clear result in Ex Chapter 2-3, "Tactical beach". HP score: 786,500 * 1 = 786,500 points. Attack score: 3,869 * 1 * level 44 = 170,236 points. Defense score: 1,308 * 1 * level 44 = 57,552 points. Tactical Nexus devs remain the undisputed champions of update notes, and of timeliness of course.

#tacticalnexus
Screenshot of Tactical Nexus update that reads: Hello. Today is the 46th day of August, so as scheduled, I'd like to update the August issue of Monthly Nexus. I'm sure everyone reading this article knows that Team-Nexus has earned reputations such as “Strict Guardians of Time,” “A Miraculous Group That Has Never Once Missed a Deadline,” and “𝙀𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙆𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨”. Therefore, without exception, we successfully updated Chapter 8-4 on August 39th.

Therefore, despite contradicting our previous statements, we have implemented “automatic item collection within reachable areas” and “automatic combat against enemies that can be defeated without taking damage within reachable areas.”

Tactical Nexus play result on 8-2 "Lit tactical palace". 13,217,340 points and a gold medal. Notably, HP has no score influence. Obtaining the spell "Glitch: The guardian's sword". 250 candles were needed to obtain it. Description of the "Glitch: The guardian's sword" magic. It boosts attack by (your level) * (100 - your level), i.e. it gets stronger until it provides a 2500 boost at level 50, before decaying back to no buff at level 100. It costs 100 MP, but as a Glitch spell, it can be cast without sufficient MP, but will put the player in MP debt.

💙 Two new legacies to play with (okay, one requires more sunstones than we currently have) + "it's magic, I ain't gotta explain shit"

#TacticalNexus
Gameplay in Tactical Nexus chapter 6-1 "Final tutorial". On a screen with tiles making a left arrow formation. I just got the legacy spell "Medicine dictionary (red)", which grants HP and ATK increase on the otherwise near-worthless red potions at the cost of 100 sunstones. Clear result in 6-3 "Rainbow tactical mythology" after stepping on a Clear 2 tile. No points due to having negative MP - -64 MP, specifically. More importantly, I got the legacy spell "Solar Elixir", which consumes 60% of the player's sunstones to grant 100 MP. Clear result in 1-5 "Tactical trip mini" on Mystic Gate mode. 6,006,474 points and 6 sunstones due to using Mystic mode. Previous best 5,880,700 points and 5 sunstones.

Nexus Stage - FAILED

That's it?
That's the Nexus Stage?
THAT WAS JUST A BUNCH OF CHEAP HITS

#TacticalNexus #MagicTower
Tactical Nexus gameplay in Chapter 1-6 "Tactical tower G". The player is on the "Forgotten temple(6)", the sixth floor of the stage's "Nexus Stage", a super hard unlockable extra portion of the stage. The floor features a sunset sky background with a rainbow. On the floor itself are a bunch of blocks that require colored keys, of which the player doesn't have enough of. The player has 326,269 HP, 4,848 Attack, and 4,799 Defense. The enemy, named Pioneer, has 120,000 HP, 7,640 Attack, and 4,550 Defense. If the player engages this enemy, they will take 1,170,492 HP, meaning they will Fucking Die. On the tile the player is standing on is a note. It reads "nek minnit" (although there is double spacing between each character).

Tactical Nexus - E1: The tutorial is hard
This probably will not be a real Let's Play of Tactical Nexus. I just figured it would be a funny joke. I'm waiting for Chapter 6 to drop, so I decided to return to the basics and run the tutorial for funsies. If at any point this video interested you, perhaps you will want to play Tactical Nexus, or at least the demo! Who knows if I will do this again for the other towers. We'll just have to see.
