Tagwrangling just reinvented Sears Subject Headings with fandom terminology. There is nothing new under the sun.

In the 15 years of AO3, we've already had to go back and rewrangle some tags to keep up with terminology shifts. Plus newbies misusing language, fandoms bringing a new interpretation...
