Not my spot but how about its' precursor, a #Shatchback with #TailLiars? If you bought a US-spec Escort hatch or wagon you got real-deal amber rear signals, but the last of the sedans had the infamous 'Murica combined stop/tail/turn lights with an amber decorative strip that didn't light up at all.
