The Talamasca is evil by nature; that’s the price it pays for its [knowledge]. Rather like God, wouldn’t you say, who knows that some of his creatures will suer and some will triumph, but does not tell his creatures what he knows? - Taltos

Talamasca: The Secret Order is like Mormonism of Anne Rice, and that's the NICEST thing I can say about it. Every week I'm like, "maybe I'm wrong, maybe there's something here," and yet... #TalamascaAMC

Bro would be out monologued on Riverdale. You can feel that what the rest of the show does is going to hinge on this moment and this dynamic and it's like watching white out set.

An Executive, presumably: sure, Interview with the Vampire is a success, but what if when someone communicated telepathically or manipulated time there were super annoying noises?

They've added more mother houses but reduced archives to single library or volume? This sprawling, multi generational secret order is just...? And why not do dual protagonists in the first season of someone like Kevas and someone else interesting (see: not Guy) to establish this shit? #TalamascaAMC

The intrique of the Talamasca, interpersonally & politically, is that SOME involved become seedy, self serving spies. #TalamascaAMC seems to think that's all it is, a sketchy spy club house. There's no energy of archiving, archaeological study, spiritual searching, or genuine academia...

Talamasca isn't a good spy thriller, it's not a compelling character piece, it has no real mystery, and it certainly doesn't have anything resembling Anne Rice's philosophical or romantic themes. I'm confused who the supposed audience even is. It ain't got the juice. #TalamascaAMC

Unfortunately, Talamasca: The Secret Order mistakes giving your audience nothing to chew on with having a mystery. It treats us like we're too stupid to accept basic concepts like vampirism & telepathy, but also doesn't show us anything illuminating. #TalamascaAMC

You don't have a "mother house" in New Orleans, that's sort of a load bearing predicament in Queen of the Damned when Jesse gets Claudia grief psychosis actually. I hate it here! #TalamascaAMC
