The gov't attorney in this one is currently refusing to say who in DOD promulgated the latest trans servicemember policy (issued today).

Judge Reyes is quite animated in asking where this policy comes from, and the lawyer is straight-up refusing to answer.

Breaking news from modern military Association of America. Judge blocks trans military ban. A federal judge has issued a preliminary injunction that halts the new policy banning transgender service members from serving in the US military According to the advocate, the decision states that the policy “violates the constitutional rights of transgender service members, finding that the government failed to provide evidence that banning them serves a legitimate military purpose“ More details to come. It is important to note that this is a preliminary injunction, and not a permanent block. Modern military will continue bringing updates as they come.
