but #TaleOfLadyOk is only on Kocowa as far as I know, which is the main reason I didn’t get to see it (I’m already oversubscribed elsewhere).

Finally I can differentiate between the Joseon classes speech and phrase patterns now.
It is surprising how much you pick up just by watching, especially if you're already fluent in Mandarin or Japanese.

(which isn’t to say there aren’t excellent sageuks being made in Korea - it’s also a matter of availability; eg, #TaleofLadyOk was only available on Kocowa)

I haven’t seen #TaleofLadyOk, & I loved Jang Nara #GoodPartner, & IU is amazing in #WhenLifeGivesYouTangerines, but I would still say Kim Tae Ri deserves it for her performance in #Jeongnyeon

Like I said i was really impressed by his acting! I watched only top to the dramas you mentioned #TaleOfLadyOk this year and he was great there too in the double role!
