Cooked up a Bali boom bap collab with @wiswiz. Put him on the Push, chopped @sovietfreestyle, added Arturia sauce + @skykingdrumlibrary + yesterday’s break. Recognize the loop? 🥁👀

Day 693 | #BeatADay
“Blackout”

Locked in at Everyday Indo, Canggu, Bali, vibing with Anjing Pemalas of Boyz Got No Brain. Breaking down beats, sharing techniques, and nerding out. Always love building with like-minded creatives.

Pulled up to an all-vinyl night—dope beats, great vibes, and some fire ramen. 🍜 Cooked up “Breathe Sleep” live on Ableton Push 3, rocking Gimme The Goodz while Kit tweaked the mix and checked emails at the same time. 😂

Fun fact: I’ve put on monthly beat battles and beat cyphers/showcases since 2006, when I did my first ever one the month after Dilla passed. Only continent I haven’t done one yet on is Antártica, which is bucket list, and I have a plan to do one there #talesofatravelingbeatdoctor

Cooked Beat 814 — “Holy Holi” at @wearesounddojo in Houston.
Started the idea in the juvenile hall waiting room with one-shots, added a piano line, 808 bass, pitched a sample & improvised an Octave Cat lead.
Traveling studio energy. Hip Hop healing in motion.
