Could somebody out there explain the rationale for putting Planets on the IC for Astrological Magic Elections?

Maybe it's just me, but I looked at and read the description of the #Constellation of #Cygnus for Astrological Magic work in the Speculum Lapidum, and nothing in that source hints at Romantic love.
