My intro to xiv wasn't great. So many rules, expectations, so much harassment (including sexual) & stalking. Failed friendships & statics... Lots of anxiety...
It's gotten better as I've found my footing in enjoying the game & building knowledge, myself.

Well anyway a thing with XIV that made me happy was that @grumpafluffagus.bsky.social and I hopped into MT Advanced last night on a whim and took down two of three of the bosses before getting too eepy when progging halfway through the third.
It was so fun to puzzle out the fights!!

I will never tire of them.
I hate how fast they go these days.
