Your 1st point isn't really true. The tiny area that the junta has taken back is around Taungkham in Naungcho Township, at great cost in casualties to the junta. It shows little sign of lasting. For the most part the TNLA is consolidating its gains & building admin capacity.

There is almost daily shelling at #TaungKham area #Shan state,& military council from #YaPyin & #NaunLin Twps was divided 2 lines & conducted offensive to #NaunChio Twp's area, locals & military sources said.

Myanmar: A new training class of DPLA (Danu People's Liberation Army) troops with TNLA trainers present.

DPLA have been key in holding the line near Shan's Taungkham (also active in Kyawkku & Lawksawk), on a key road running from Nawnghkio to Taunggyi.

The junta took back eight positions in the ongoing Taungkham front. Nearby in Madaya, the junta is ramping up bombardment to take northern Mandalay and get their gold mines back
