Nothing sums up Taunton's feeling of quiet despair so much as the pawnbroker closing down.

Paid another visit to the Museum of Taunton's Art of Doctor Who exhibit and realised I'd missed the alternative cover for Planet of the Daleks.

Out on the Bianchi again this morning in the sunshine. More exploring Taunton's cycle paths, Hankridge nature reserve and stumbled upon a derelict Nerrols Farm. Also discovered Staplegrove road is closed to everyone (that includes bikes) #cycling #Bianchi #morningride

Boston will defeat them by trapping them in a matrix of ten thousand slowly moving vehicles for hours while broadcasting Jimmy from Taunton's vaguely racist opinions on the Patriots' defensive line.

You sound disappointed 😆😂. Spent some time in Taunton's disreputable neighbour in the nineties & boy was it rough. Cheery folk tho - cheery, and violent 😲.

Taunton's charity shops sold me two Blu-ray players for a tenner, so I can have one at Dad's and one in Turkey, but a sudden thought that my London one is smaller and lighter means I'm stuck in some bloke version of the chicken+grain+fox problem

Spent an enjoyable evening at the inaugural Electric Summer gig in Taunton’s Vivary Park. Last on was organiser & long term town resident, Howard Jones.
I’m an 80s pop kid at heart, & it’s easy to forget that at one point our Howard was selling squillions of records worldwide.
Proper fun!

Brian the Cat @SCCCBrianTheCat (x account) hasn't been seen for some months now.
He's been called the unofficial mascot of The County Cricket Ground in Taunton, Somerset & fans at the ground love seeing him around.
They hope that he'll make a return soon.

A distant, dorsal view of one of Taunton’s Peregrines on the weathervane of St John the Evangelist church, a favoured perch. He had left to chase pigeons by the time I was in position for a closer, frontal view. A female Kestrel at Longrun Meadow made it a rare two-falcon day here.
