My Darius has just invited Val'dran - @eternalscout.bsky.social 's boi - out for a coffee in a modern AU RP we're doing.

In another RP, Darius is busy washing Mal - @tragedysorbet.bsky.social 's boi - hair, in a post-game AU we got going.

“3 for 2 on kinky shit?” Darius laughs, “I’d believe you if your tone weren’t so sarcastic.” The laughter sits loose in his chest, making him hum and purr while he follows Val’dran back to the register. There, he dumps the items in the basket out on the counter; 2 coils of rope, 6 hooks, 8 rings, 4 bottles of different lube, and the rainbow flag. He glances around on the register itself while he let’s Val’dran do his job, suspecting it isn’t actually his job, with what he’s heard about the guys working at Jax’s. He finds a small bottle of hand lotion and then horn-oil right next to it. “Didn’t know you catered to tiefling needs, too,” he murmurs, adding both to the ever growing pile of items. “Inclusive. I like it.” He’s studying the ingredients list of the horn oil. “Say,” he suddenly says, straightening up from being hunched over the register. “Can I invite you out for a coffee later? Or a tea, if that’s more your thing?” he asks Val’dran, rather directly. ~ Val’dran smirks at Darius’ laugh, logging into the register swiftly to scan the various items. While there is no such deal in truth, so what? Darius is buying multiple things, and offering bonuses and discounts is how one gets customers to stay isn’t it? If Val’dran just so happens to plot in a discount to the effect of a 3 for the price of 2, noting it as ‘kinky discount’, what is anyone going to do about it? Jarlaxle would just laugh. “If someone might want it, we probably have it,” he notes. “Especially if it’s for someone less likely to find such things in common stores.” The query of coffee is… unexpected. And very direct. But… upon considering it, Val’dran finds he’s not opposed. As much as he disliked being walked into and almost having his skirt pulled down, Darius has proven… interesting to talk to. And there’s still something about where he’s heard the name or the description or… something. “…Coffee’s good,” he says. "Darius...?" He asks quietly, eyes still shut as the water slips down his shoulders, soaking his hair. "... can I... ask you something?" ~ Darius wrings water into Mal’s hair once more then reaches for a purple bar of shampoo, lathering it up. It gives off a gentle scent of lavender and pine, surface scents. At the mention of his name, he rumbles a soft noise. “You can ask me anything – whenever and whatever,” he replies, massaging the soap into his head. “What is it?” he tackles on when he realises he just rambled instead of actually answer the inquiry.
