#TaxiDriver2 3: They are all so delighted at having the band back together, it's adorable! Curious about the new guy who kept touching Kim Do Gi (I mean, who wouldn't...). And they couldn't let KDG get away without a bit of suffering so: PTSD time! And exposure therapy IS a thing but: not like that!

And: this show is so incredibly cute?! It's been ages since I watched anything that hit my found family spot this good! And with bonus massive amounts of delightful whump. Season 3 when?!

#TaxiDriver2 2: I CANNOT with how Kim Do Gi wholly embraces optimal chaos at every opportunity. He's so soft-spoken and serious in private that it takes a while to realize that at heart, he is a devious gremlin man. The way he reused his U Data AND voice phishing personas for great justice/chaos...!
Kim Do Gi in his dorky programmer persona giving double finger hearts and winking at thugs dragging him away. Kim Do Gi in the back of a taxi, grinning about how cute it is that the driver and his companion are planning to rob HIM, because he already knows how that's going to pan out for them. Kim Do Gi outside a street food restaurant at night, the hint of a smirk lighting up his face as he plans a full scale gang war (he is not in either gang) by way of emotional manipulation. Beautifully lit night scene of a street market. Kim Do Gi is wearing a cream colored Vietnamese áo dài, as well as too many rings and necklaces, and aviator glasses. He's also leaning against the yellow taxi that he took from his would-be muggers.

#TaxiDriver2 9: One thing I absolutely love is characters where you feel their lives go on when they're not on TV, if that makes sense? So I loved the little glimpse of the gang just having jobs. I also love random crossovers happening bcthe actors are buddies HI Namkoong Min!! That was so cute!
Mechanics Choi and Park, and Kim Do Gi in the middle, all intent on a coin tossing game out of frame. Kim Do Gi being a normal taxi driver and hading a bundle to his little old lady passenger who thanks him. The character Chun Ji Hoon (played by Namkoong Min) from One Dollar Lawyer, wearing sunglasses indoors telling Kim Do Gi "You have a great voice. And you're handsome." #TaxiDriver2 6: So yes Kim Do Gi being incredibly soft and sweet with little kids and then punching the shit out of the people who hurt them is very good? And this time we got a very well deserved Whole Man Disposal Service! Plus a bit of KDG in peril, for good measure. Meanwhile: METAPLOT BAD GUY!

And I always love seeing KDG go from acting to serious. Meanwhile SOME little meowmeow did some violence and got all bloody? (It's ok it's not his!)

#TaxiDriver2 4: Finally EVERYONE gets to play dress-up, and Kim Do Gi wears increasingly amazing farm hats!

This was a very silly episode and I was incredibly tickled by the whole thing. Just, again: the plan didn't have to include so much chaos, but it did! As far as I can tell, for the lulz.
Kim Do Gi in his country bumpkin outfit of green trucker hat, oversized shirt, sleeve protectors, gloves, and green track pants. Oh and he's just getting off a tiny tractor and wiping his nose in a gross way. Chairman Jung disguised as a doddering grandpa handing a hundred bill to country bumpkin Kim Do Gi, now in a yellow trucker hat and with a purple towel twisted around his neck. An Go Eun dressed up as a...cowgirl singer...? Lipsyncing for her life! Kim Do Gi on his tiny tractor in a very fetching pink farming bonnet, denim, sleeve protectors, and garish print pants.

But I absolutely adored that An Go Eun got to be the one to throw herself into danger to KDG, and that the other two helped saved them. And that, drugged out of his mind, KDG sees: THEM. At home. And tears up.🥺 2/2
