Your donations can go a long way to supporting our efforts. With $60 we can promote people's history lessons about Central America adding to our over 150 resources including a new lesson on Panama! #TeachCentAm

With all that we have accomplished with limited staff hours, imagine how many teachers and students we could reach and support if we had full-time staff. #GivingTuesday #TeachCentAm

Our Central America: An Introductory Lesson is a team favorite. This lesson introduces students to several of these concepts through brief biographical sketches of figures in 20th century Central American history. #TeachCentAm

NECCA had committees in 11 US cities and published various titles to teach about the region. At a national meeting held in March 1987, our current & founding executive director, @dmenkart.bsky.social, was selected as the New East Coordinator.
