We had a Zootopia 2 movie night a few weeks ago in the AMC in Boston Commons, and it was a smashing success! With help from MIT TechFurs club, we managed to get over 30 people to come to the showing. T’was a lot of fun!

Even if I pretended that furries were majority of the techbro audience (just because I have girly socks doesn't mean I know programming!!!) I still have yet to have ONE good experience with techfurs because every, single, one I met personally were either politically incorrect, problematic, or both.

Also ethically speaking, I have a pretty low opinion of any "rich STEM furry" who contributed to AI or the sloppification of society in any way. Obviously this isn't true of all or most techfurs, but for the ones who really are rich and work for Microsoft/Google it probably is.

on this, I'm now trying to figure out how far fetched it would be to get a website going, both as a portfolio for my photography, to replace my linktree I've lost access to AGAIN and to outdo the techfurs on silly domain names

I've heard that a lot of furs loved crypto & AI stuff cause the furs that were interested are tech furs & they loved the systems behind it & messing with the mechanics of it or whatever But then all the idiotic new generation snake oil salesmen came in & ruined it. Which caused the techfurs to leave

I feel like, along with that, this moment needs to be the moment that TechFurs just show how much damage they can actually do. Break their oversight and trivialize the power they think they have. I'm sure someone knows what servers the evangelicals use. Make em scramble like the egghead's they are.

That is precisely what will happen, either that or they'll try Newgrounds again. The average person doesn't give two flying shits about nor understands the fediverse; that's just the cold hard truth that our fellow techfurs need to accept.
