Just after I got married, I played the role of "arm candy" and attended a biomed conference with my spouse. The conference was the "Great Plains Emerging Infectious Diseases Conference" at Univ of Iowa. The keynote speaker was Dr. Peter Daszak. This is long before covid. He talked about wuhan bats.
