Arks are not the easiest to ID (for me that is) we have plenty of them in Sri Lanka. I believe this is #Tegillarca nodifera

MR新着。ハイガイ 𝙏𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙖 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙨𝙖 (Linnaeus, 1758) の安定的な養殖に向けて塩分耐性などをマレーシアで検討。野外では稚貝・成貝とも塩分が7.6～19.0 pptと低めの場所に見られるが、室内実験では4～45 pptで高い生存率を示し、塩分に加えてクロロフィルa濃度の高さ（≒餌の豊富さ）と31.4～32.3℃の好適な水温が生存に重要と示唆された。

日本のハイガイはもはや風前の灯状態なので、こうした実験自体が難しそうですが、まだ多産している熱帯域で得られたデータが応用できると光明が見えてくるかもしれません。
