A stunning long-exposure image captures the Geminid meteor shower over the Teide Observatory on Tenerife, Canary Islands. Numerous bright meteors streak across a night sky illuminated by a nearly full moon, with the observatory and Teide volcano visible on the horizon. The image is a composite of short exposures to show the meteors, similar to the 2016 shower.
