Tekad embroidery is a traditional art form from Kuala Kangsar that uses gold threads to create intricate patterns on fabrics like velvet and satin. Meet Hajah Azizah, a true master of tekad. For years, she’s been dedicated to keeping this beautiful tradition alive by teaching others. Under her expert guidance, you’ll create your own tekad piece to take home—a unique and meaningful keepsake of Malaysia’s rich cultural tapestry.
